Automotive Service Advisor

Amato Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram is seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Express Lube Advisor to join our service team. This role is the first point of contact for customers visiting our express service lane, helping identify service needs, communicating maintenance recommendations, and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage, and vehicle history
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Prompt follow-up and monitor the progress of each vehicle, updating customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

Requirements

• Must be a top performer willing to go above and beyond for customers
• Outstanding in sales and follow-through
• At least 1 year of experience in automobile service write-ups
• Self-motivated, organized, and driven to succeed
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Dealership service experience is required
