Responsibilities

  • Develops relationships with customers to build a client-base for life
  • Exhibits consultative selling skills and assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
  • Continuously develops product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority; knows the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies
  • Performs high-quality, professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles
  • Follows up with buyers to ensure successful referral business
  • Learns to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations
  • Reports directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyzes
  • Bridges the gap between customer needs and product offerings

Qualifications

  • Reliable, self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
  • Ready to waste no time on learning new product ins and outs; eager to improve
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Understands the importance of listening and being empathetic
  • Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • At least one year of prior employment involving customer-facing service or telephone contact
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude
  • Open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development
  • Strong computer, phone and multitasking skills
