Automotive Repair Store Manager

Role Overview: The Store Manager oversees the overall performance of a store, focusing on both financial and operational success. They establish guest service standards, drive sales, control expenses, manage human resources, and reduce shrinkage to ensure maximum profitability. Key Responsibilities People Management: Set clear expectations, communicate regularly, coach and counsel staff, ensure policy compliance, recruit and hire, and conduct performance evaluations.Financial Oversight: Analyze business trends, develop strategies to meet sales and profit goals, review reports for growth opportunities, and maintain asset controls.Facilities Maintenance: Ensure store cleanliness, uphold merchandising standards, inspect equipment, and manage parts returns and credits. Qualifications & Skills Minimum two years of leadership experience in retail or automotive service management.Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.Proven ability to meet sales and profit targets, develop plans, and lead teams effectively.Preferred experience as an automotive technician, valid driver’s license, and willingness to relocate or accept store placement. Physical & Working Conditions: Must stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, work in varied environments with noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
