About the role
Facilitate Instructor Led Training courses to automotive consultants' customers setting.
Responsibilities
- Minimum four years’ automotive technician experience
- Current ASE Certified Master Technician (auto)
- Professional experience delivering technical training
- Demonstrated professional presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of intricate automotive systems
- Advanced automotive systems diagnostic skills as in GM Hybrid’s
- Strong knowledge of intricate automotive systems diagnostic skills as in GM Hybrid’s
- Ability to work skillfully with highly technical diagnostic equipment, including Scan Tools, Lab Scopes, DVOMs, Air Conditioning Recycling Equipment, Vibration Diagnostic Equipment, etc.
- Ability to work well with both customers and co-workers in a team environment
- Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the internet, Microsoft Office products and email
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations and work environments
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Requirements
- One or more years automotive and or medium/heavy truck instructor experience
- Previous technician experience in a dealership, independent service center, and/or aftermarket service repair center
- Hybrid system experience
Qualifications
- Associate degree in automotive technology or the successful completion of a formal Automotive Technology Certificate Program
- Four years automotive technician instructor or automotive consultant experience with a high school diploma may be considered in lieu of a degree
