About the role

DARCARS of Silver Spring is seeking an Automotive Business Development Representative (BDC) / Internet Sales to join their team. This position is not remote eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Nurture inbound prospects through a needs analysis exercise using the DARCARS Approach to Sales
  • Provide dealership and product information, answer questions, and link prospects with in-store sales managers
  • Ensure follow-up and provide an exceptional experience with every interaction
  • Pull and manage leads through the CRM system
  • Serve as a knowledgeable first point of contact on products, services, and the DARCARS brand
  • Convert online interest into in-store appointments
  • Follow communication scripts to maintain consistency and quality
  • Log all customer interactions in real-time
  • Build strong working relationships with dealership personnel
  • Maintain performance goals, including response time and conversion metrics

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • To be computer savvy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a team-first mentality
  • Able to multi-task and manage leads efficiently
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or call center environments preferred but not required
  • Automotive experience a plus, but not necessary – comprehensive training provided
  • CRM experience (e.g., DriveCentric, VinSolutions, Elead) preferred but not required
