About the role

The Automation Technician I position requires two years of manufacturing experience in a related field, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical degree in automation preferred. Experience in AC, DC, and three-phase wiring, as well as proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings, is required. Knowledge of pneumatics and servo-drive motors is also essential.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize and understand engineering drawings, build, wire, and qualify sub-assemblies, main assemblies, and final machines.
  • Proactively troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical problems and communicate with other departments for solutions.
  • Set up final systems in accordance with internal and customer quality acceptance measures.
  • Ensure the final product meets specifications.

Requirements

  • Two years of manufacturing experience in a related field preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical degree in automation preferred.
  • Experience in AC, DC, and three-phase wiring.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Conceptual knowledge of pneumatics and servo-drive motors.
  • Experience as a commercial electrician or machine/automation maintenance technician preferred.
  • Able to travel 25% of the time, typically for one to three weeks per trip.
  • Willingness to train the right candidate with minimal experience and certifications for an apprentice role.

Qualifications

  • Must work daily onsite at Muller Technology CO, Inc.
  • Expectation of working no less than 40 hours per week.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00 per hour, with starting salaries at the mid-range of the posted range.

Schedule
