Automation Technician I
About the role
The Automation Technician I position requires two years of manufacturing experience in a related field, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical degree in automation preferred. Experience in AC, DC, and three-phase wiring, as well as proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings, is required. Knowledge of pneumatics and servo-drive motors is also essential.
Responsibilities
- Utilize and understand engineering drawings, build, wire, and qualify sub-assemblies, main assemblies, and final machines.
- Proactively troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical problems and communicate with other departments for solutions.
- Set up final systems in accordance with internal and customer quality acceptance measures.
- Ensure the final product meets specifications.
Requirements
- Two years of manufacturing experience in a related field preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical degree in automation preferred.
- Experience in AC, DC, and three-phase wiring.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic drawings.
- Conceptual knowledge of pneumatics and servo-drive motors.
- Experience as a commercial electrician or machine/automation maintenance technician preferred.
- Able to travel 25% of the time, typically for one to three weeks per trip.
- Willingness to train the right candidate with minimal experience and certifications for an apprentice role.
Qualifications
- Must work daily onsite at Muller Technology CO, Inc.
- Expectation of working no less than 40 hours per week.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00 per hour, with starting salaries at the mid-range of the posted range.
Schedule
The position is permanent full-time, with the option to travel 25% of the time, typically for one to three weeks per trip.
