U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC is an international tier-one supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry. The Automatic Assembly, Set Up & Operate role involves setting up and operating assembly lines to produce Automotive Timing Chain and Components, performing changeovers, and making adjustments according to established work standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections before each shift, including applying oil or grease and confirming detector operability.
  • Conduct comprehensive preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes.
  • Troubleshoot chain assembly equipment to identify and correct issues based on alarm messages.
  • Operate and maintain an assembly line consisting of machines/operations including roller link assembly, chain assembly, riveting, pre-stressing, articulation checking, center distance measuring, automatic cutting, endless operation, washing, final inspection, and packing.
  • Adhere to work standards and maintain production schedules, quality control records, chain assembly records, shipping charge numbers, and traceability records for each charge of chain.
  • Report unusual problems to the departmental supervisor.
  • Prepare test samples for quality control per work standards and record production data as directed.
  • Utilize a machine-monitoring system to record downtime.
  • Detect faulty operation or defective material and report these conditions to the group leader or supervisor.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition while following standard safety regulations.
  • Perform other similar and associated duties as required or directed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience running multiple machines and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Safety-first mindset with a strong focus on quality.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and in a fast-paced setting.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks.
  • Basic computer skills.

Pay

$24.29 - $26.92 hourly wage.
