Auto Service Manager

About the role

We’re Auto Safety Center—Wisconsin’s trusted name in auto repair since 1965—and we’re growing fast. With 3 thriving locations (and a 4th opening soon), we’re looking for an experienced Service Manager willing to be trained to run one of our busy shops in SE Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train technicians
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, inventory, and customer service
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Develop and implement service strategies to increase efficiency and profitability
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive service management
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Automotive industry certifications preferred but not required

Average pay for Service Managers is $110k+

About Auto Safety Center

Schmidts Safety Center started from the humble and hard work of founder Ralph Schmidt in 1965. In 1983 Roger Berth purchased the business from Ralph and renamed the shop Auto Safety Center. In 1995 Roger hired a high school senior Joe Valind and in 2005 Joe and his wife Jessica bought the business from Roger. Moving locations in 2012 to our current West Bend location and expanding to 2nd location in Cedarburg in 2022 and our 3rd location in 2024 on the southside of West Bend.
