About the Role

As a Staff Auditor, you will participate in annual audit, review, and compilation engagements with a variety of clients. Your work will involve all aspects of financial statement preparation and assisting with engagement planning. You will perform technical work, develop your skills, and maintain strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction. Collaboration with your audit team to identify and resolve client issues is key, and creativity is encouraged to help you become an expert and make a difference at our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in annual audit, review, and compilation engagements for diverse clients.
  • Assist in planning and executing financial statement preparation.
  • Perform technical audit work and develop technical skills.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client management and staff at all levels.
  • Collaborate with your audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process.
  • Work creatively to develop expertise and contribute meaningfully to the firm.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of recent and relevant public accounting external auditing experience.
  • Ability to meet the education requirement for CPA certification.
  • Strong organizational, social, technical, and accounting/auditing skills.
  • Ability to multitask, as planning, executing, and wrapping up engagements may occur concurrently.
  • Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role is $62,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business or organizational needs.
