About the role

Our client, a reputable law firm in Greater Boston, is seeking a full-time Family Law Attorney to join their growing practice. The role involves managing a full spectrum of family law matters from start to finish, including litigation, client counseling, and settlement negotiations. Candidates should be comfortable in the courtroom and handling sensitive, complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and related issues
• Draft, file, and argue motions
• Conduct depositions and manage discovery
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients
• Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on clients’ behalf

Qualifications

• 5–15+ years of experience practicing family law
• Strong knowledge of Massachusetts family law and court procedures
• Experience drafting motions and handling litigation matters
• Proficiency in conducting depositions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required; New Hampshire admission a plus
• Experience handling contested and complex family law cases a plus

Pay

$140,000–$185,000+
