Responsibilities

• Serve as lead counsel on commercial leasing transactions
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of leasing documents, including:
  • Letters of intent
  • Work letters
  • Assignment and transfer agreements
  • Lender subordination agreements and SNDAs
• Advise clients on market lease terms and related risk considerations
• Represent primarily landlord clients across office, retail, and industrial assets
• Manage leasing matters from initial negotiation through execution
• Interface directly with clients, brokers, property managers, and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys as appropriate

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial leasing
• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction

Qualifications

• Strong experience with office, retail, and industrial leasing
• Deep understanding of leasing market standards
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience

• Experience representing landlords
• Exposure to multi-asset or portfolio leasing

Pay

$200,000 - $255,000 per year
