Responsibilities
- Serve as lead counsel on commercial leasing transactions
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of leasing documents, including:
- Letters of intent
- Work letters
- Assignment and transfer agreements
- Lender subordination agreements and SNDAs
- Advise clients on market lease terms and related risk considerations
- Represent primarily landlord clients across office, retail, and industrial assets
- Manage leasing matters from initial negotiation through execution
- Interface directly with clients, brokers, property managers, and opposing counsel
- Collaborate with partners and mentor junior attorneys as appropriate
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial leasing
- Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction
Qualifications
- Strong experience with office, retail, and industrial leasing
- Deep understanding of leasing market standards
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Experience
- Experience representing landlords
- Exposure to multi-asset or portfolio leasing
Pay
$200,000 - $255,000 per year
