- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- 4–7 years of commercial real estate experience, ideally gained in a law firm or sophisticated in-house setting
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating key real estate transaction documents
- Experience handling title and survey review, closings, and financing documentation
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working directly with clients
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of commercial, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, restrictive covenants, and development agreements
- Advises on title and survey matters and coordinates due diligence reviews
- Works with lenders and borrowers on commercial real estate financing, including construction and permanent loans
- Supports complex entity structuring and joint venture transactions
