Responsibilities
- Represent clients from intake through resolution, including counseling, strategy, drafting, negotiation, and court/agency appearances.
- Manage case deadlines, filings, discovery, petitions, and compliance with court or agency requirements.
- Collaborate with support staff to maintain organized and accurate client files.
- Participate in case planning and cross-training across practice areas.
- Maintain proper billing practices and respond to client billing inquiries.
- Cook up onboarding of any existing book of business, if applicable.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) and active U.S. bar license (Alaska bar preferred or ability to become barred within 6 months).
- Strong legal drafting, organizational, and follow-through skills.
- High ethical standards and sound judgment with confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and practice management software.
- PREFERRED: experience in probate, immigration, or civil litigation.

- Comply with applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, including client confidentiality, truthful communications, and diligent representation.
Work Environment
- Full-time, on-site in Anchorage, AK, with flexible scheduling.
