Cipriani & Werner is a multidisciplinary law firm recognized for understanding client needs and delivering expected results. The Pittsburgh Office in Mt. Lebanon, PA is seeking a General Liability Attorney to join its growing team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new files
• Client communications
• Discovery production
• Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law
• Prepare and argue discovery
• Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals
• Attend pretrial listings
• Motions and trial

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA‑approved law school and active Pennsylvania law license in good standing
• 5‑7 years of insurance defense experience required
• Insurance coverage background and trial experience preferred
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e‑document management software preferred
• Self‑motivated independent thinker with excellent time management, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills; able to work as a team member in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment
