Role Purpose

As a Room Attendant – you’ll make sure our rooms and suites are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests after a busy day at work – creating a haven for them to escape and relax in - or get a bit of last-minute work done.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms and suites.
  • Assist guests with requests such as providing toothbrushes or directions.
  • Inform supervisors about room service progress and report any necessary repairs.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment as required.
  • Organize supplies and minimize waste.
  • Return misplaced items to their owners and document any found items.
  • Wear the appropriate uniform and present a professional appearance.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed, such as assisting with deep cleaning projects or turndown services.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments as needed to maintain high-quality service.

Key Skills & Experiences

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Literacy skills, including reading, writing, and basic math.
  • A flexible schedule to accommodate shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
