About the role
Hard Rock Live Hosts, also known as Roadies, are responsible for providing exceptional service at events to all areas of Hard Rock Live. They report to the Live Managers and the Rocker Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every guest has access to a clean, safe, and entertaining environment.
- Seat guests accurately and resolve any ticketing issues.
- Direct guests appropriately and answer guest questions.
- Set up and break down for all events, including chairs, tables, bike racks, buffets, trash, etc.
- Perform duties such as cleaning, sweeping, and vacuuming.
- Effectively communicate escalated guest issues to the Live Manager and/or General Manager.
- Aid in providing basic service tasks like covering positions, overseeing guest medical issues, monitoring aisles, seating guests, addressing guest needs, and setting up & breaking down for events.
- Maintain crowd control.
- Maintain positive relationships with all departments within the building (e.g., Security, Kitchen, Sales, etc.) to ensure guest and client needs are met.
- Ensure proper care and utilization of all equipment, and report any issues to management.
- Maintain and understand general venue and company knowledge, including upcoming events, company initiatives, and philanthropic initiatives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One (1) year prior customer service experience, preferably in an entertainment venue environment.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and late nights.
- Must have the ability to read, write, and understand English in a working capacity.
- Ability to move throughout the corporate office and cafes during visits (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds occasionally, regularly, and frequently.
- Ability to turn or twist body parts in a circular motion.
- Tolerance for exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and noisy environments.
Qualifications
- Able to express and exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
