Athletic Trainer (Part-time) Temp Pool 2026 - 2027

This is a temporary, hourly pool position for Athletic Trainers. Assignments are scheduled as needed and may include days, evenings, or weekends at any campus or authorized facility. Applications are valid through June 30, 2027.

This is a nonexempt, “Extended-day” position with possible fluctuations in daily working hours. Overtime is compensated after 40 hours in a week.

Residency Requirement: All employees must maintain a principal residence in California within 200 road miles of their assigned worksite. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis for up to 12 consecutive months.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and administer a comprehensive sports medicine program focused on prevention and care of athletic injuries related to intercollegiate sports.
• Educate student athletes on injury prevention.
• Administer treatment and rehabilitation to injured athletes.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Pay

$44.09 per hour (range 28, step 1).
