Athletic Trainer - Outreach

About the role

Provide athletic training services within a secondary school setting as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the health and safety of student-athletes.

Responsibilities

• Injury and illness prevention, assessment, and diagnosis
• Emergency care and therapeutic intervention
• Patient education
• Evaluate conditions and coordinate follow-up care
• Document interactions in electronic medical records
• Comply with healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and organizational policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Exercise Science or Athletic Training
• Valid athletic trainer certification
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• State licensure as an athletic trainer

Experience

Less than 1 year post-education or 15+ years with a related degree and certification.
