About the role
We are seeking an Athletic Trainer to deliver healthcare services within a secondary school setting, supporting the health and safety of student-athletes.
Responsibilities
- Injury and illness prevention for student-athletes
- Examination, assessment, and diagnosis of athletic injuries and conditions
- Provide emergency care and therapeutic interventions
- Evaluate conditions and educate stakeholders on injury prevention
- Coordinate clinic appointments for student-athletes
- Document all interactions in electronic medical records
- Practice within state and professional standards
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to organizational policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Science or Athletic Training
- State licensure as an Athletic Trainer
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum experience varies: less than one year with an approved degree, or extensive experience in related fields
