Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Orthopedics

About the role

Assesses, evaluates, and provides treatment to patients of all ages in a clinical setting. Acts as a professional role model and clinical resource for providers, staff, residents, and students.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical and development assessments, documents evaluations and care plans, and adjusts treatments based on patient response.
• Provides emergency care, including CPR, and maintains current knowledge of medical practices.
• Manages daily clinical schedules, ensures accurate documentation, and works within the scope of athletic training practice.
• Evaluates patient compliance and outcomes, educates patients and families, designs and implements care plans, and delivers athletic training services at assigned sites.
• Maintains professionalism and adheres to department policies to ensure quality athlete care and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• Must hold a valid Athletic Trainer license and certification, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
