About the Role
Assesses, evaluates, and treats patients of all ages in a clinical setting, serving as a professional role model and resource for providers, staff, residents, and students.
Responsibilities
- Performs physical and developmental assessments, documents evaluations, and plans of care.
- Evaluates and revises treatment plans based on patient response and status.
- Provides emergency care, including CPR.
- Maintains current knowledge of medical practices and literature.
- Manages daily clinical schedule and collaborates with administrative teams for documentation.
- Assesses patient compliance, response to treatment, and learning needs.
- Delivers physical care, designs and implements care plans, and instructs athletes and families in treatment and home care.
- Provides athletic training services at contracted schools, clubs, or junior colleges as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
- Licensed Athletic Trainer (AT).
- Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
Skills
- Strong assessment and documentation skills.
- Emergency response proficiency.
- Patient education and collaborative skills within scope of practice.
