About the role
We are seeking a motivated Athletic Trainer to provide high-quality clinical care, patient education, and hands-on support within an orthopedic team.
Responsibilities
- Assess, evaluate, and treat patients of all ages, documenting plans of care and monitoring progress
- Deliver emergency care, including CPR, and revise treatment plans based on patient response
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, therapists, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans, instruct patients and families, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
- Maintain current knowledge of medical practices, adhere to documentation standards, and perform work within the scope of practice
- Provide athletic training services at contracted schools and events as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field
- Licensure as an Athletic Trainer
- Certification by the Board of Certification
- BLS certification
