ATE- Tooling and Inventory Specialist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Technology team and ATE market leaders to assess the needs of ATE Technicians.
  • Purchase and maintain all OEM and aftermarket tooling and licensing.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all ATE tooling and equipment, including location assignment.
  • Ensure that essential tools for technicians are consistently stocked at the ATE Training & Technology Center and readily available for shipping.
  • Ship requested and approved tools in a timely manner with the most cost-effective shipping methods based on the urgency of the needs.
  • (i.e. technician tooling kits)
  • Conduct research to establish the most cost-effective pricing and shipping solutions for vendors/suppliers and shipping methods.
  • Collaborate with ATE market leaders to obtain tooling and equipment needs specific to each market.
  • Investigate and resolve tooling hardware/software issues, processing RMAs as needed.
  • Work closely with ATE Fleet & Mobile Technician departments to ensure all tooling and equipment is upfitted to maximize efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • QUALIFICATIONS

    • 2+ years of automotive background servicing and diagnosing automotive systems.
    • 1+ years working as an ADAS Calibration Technician, with advanced knowledge in ADAS and electrical services, equipment/tooling, and procedures.
    • Strong technological skills, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
    • Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols related to ADAS technologies
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Exceptional professionalism with a passion for the industry and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence.
    • May require occasional travel locally with possible overnight travel.
    • A safe driving record and a valid Driver’s License required.
    • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Must be able to stand for long periods of time in automotive shop environments.
