About the Role

Performs the clerical and administrative tasks associated with the shipments and inventory of products including report writing, record keeping, and a variety of other activities to ensure that shipping has support.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile on-hand finished goods, commodity, and packaging inventories while troubleshooting and correcting various issues, inventory variances, double transactions, etc.
  • Perform back flushes of daily production and quantities to maintain accuracy.
  • Liaison with departments by providing vital support to ensure all production and shipping needs are met.
  • Become the shift expert on SAP, WMS, and Excel and train and provide support in the Logistics Department.
  • Willing to learn forklift.
  • Utilize site inventory practices to perform necessary cycle counts to ensure physical inventory accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing or warehousing experience.
  • Must have experience with SAP.
  • Competency in computer and PC software including MS Office (Outlook).

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking on a concrete surface.
  • Wearing proper personal protective equipment (safety shoes, freezer coat/gloves, and uniform).
  • Bending, stooping, twisting, turning, standing or sitting for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust, dirt, and chemicals.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of inventory control principles.
  • Experience working with vendors and carriers.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and WMS systems such as Red Prairie and Blue Yonder.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or warehousing experience.

Pay

$24.10/hour, with annual bonus and merit increases.

Schedule

Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (availability to flex when needed for business purposes).
