About the Role

This position is a member of the Enterprise Applications Student Team. Responsibilities include team-focused project work such as creating and enhancing web-based software applications and databases through client-side programming, server-side programming, configuration, logic, database design, functional testing, and user training. Independent work may also be assigned, typically smaller in scale. The role involves overseeing and maintaining specific applications through troubleshooting, code development, and system improvements. Administrative duties include attending team and project meetings, collaborating with campus partners, and administering software and applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance web-based software applications and databases using client-side and server-side programming.
• Design and program databases, perform functional testing, and train users on software.
• Maintain and troubleshoot assigned applications through code development and system improvements.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field or equivalent relevant work experience (2 years) in a related field.
• Basic experience with at least one programming language.
• Basic experience with database design and programming.
• Basic experience with web front-end programming (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related IT field (preferred).
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle.
• Proficient technical learner.
• Basic knowledge of web accessibility standards and semantics.
• Experience in C# and .NET programming (preferred).
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Pay

Depending on qualifications, this position may be filled at pay grade E31 with an annual salary starting at $55,000 or at pay grade E32 with an annual salary starting at $65,000. Salary may increase based on candidate qualifications.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week.
• 12 months per year.
