Overview
We're currently seeking an Associate Vice President to join our growing team. The AVP plays a lead role on their accounts, managing media relations, mentoring junior staff, and leading client interactions.
What you'll be doing
- Lead your team to deliver media results for clients and secure effective media placements through personal contacts.
- Motivate and mentor junior staff to work effectively with journalists.
- Conduct and participate in media training sessions and media interviews.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the PR craft and client industries.
- Manage financial operations for client accounts, overseeing budget creation and monitoring.
- Review and edit all client materials and assist in developing writing skills.
- Create and develop strategic, persuasive client documents and presentations.
- Manage the flow of account work among junior team members to meet client objectives.
- Take the initiative to seek new business opportunities and present new ideas to senior management.
- Provide solutions and suggestions to troubleshoot client-related problems and respond to crises.
What makes you qualified
- 5-10 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
- A strong interest in financial services, professional services, technology, and B2B communications.
- Adeptness in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- An eye for detail, ensuring quality assurance for team/account deliverables.
- An eagerness to participate in agency-wide events and activities, promoting Prosek to clients and establishing the agency's reputation.

Pay Range
The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000. An employee's salary is determined by a range of factors including but not limited to relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
