Associate - Specialty (Insurance Coverage)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice and opinions to insurer clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda in coverage litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and apply findings to complex insurance disputes.
• Participate in depositions, mediations, hearings, and client strategy discussions.
• Manage matters proactively, including deadlines, client communication, and overall case strategy.

Key Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Admission to the California Bar.
• Experience in insurance coverage and/or coverage litigation, or a strong commercial litigation background with interest in coverage work.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
