Associate Scientist, Host Cell Protein (HCP) Analytics
Purification and ELISA Activities
Purify polyclonal antibodies from rabbit/goat bleeds immunized with host cell protein antigens, using affinity chromatography and other standard purification workflows.
Optimize and streamline purification protocols to improve yield, purity, reproducibility, and throughput.
Support ELISA method development, qualification, and troubleshooting for HCP detection and quantitation.
Reagent Management
Prepare, aliquot, and manage critical reagents (antibodies, conjugates, standards, buffers) to ensure consistent assay performance.
Document all experimental work in the electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) in accordance with defined procedures and departmental standards, and provide documentation upon request to support internal reviews, tech transfer, or regulatory submissions.
Collaboration
Collaborate cross-functionally with process development, QC, and analytical teams to align on reagent needs and assay performance criteria.
Contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory workflows and best practices.
Shift Requirements
Full-time, standard business hours
On-site laboratory setting
Minimal to no travel; on-site presence required to support laboratory operations
Environment and Physical Rhythms
This is a hands-on, on-site laboratory role centered on protein purification and immunoassay work, requiring rigorous attention to detail and consistent documentation practices.
Flexibility to work independently, manage multiple tasks in parallel, and collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment is required.
