Associate Proposal Manager

About the role

Supporting the development of complex federal proposals for DoD, Intelligence Community, and other federal clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage full proposal lifecycle from pre-RFP planning to final submission.
• Support proposal strategy, ensuring content aligns with capture objectives and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with executives, SMEs, and proposal teams to develop compelling, compliant proposals across technical, management, and cost volumes.
• Lead or coordinate proposal reviews, storyboarding, and mock-ups.
• Coach contributors in proposal best practices and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Track progress, manage proposal artifacts, and ensure adherence to schedules and RFP requirements.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and proposal teams under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, or related fields.

3-5 years federal proposal experience, including supporting large, complex opportunities and formal review processes.

Familiarity with federal solicitation structure, proposal lifecycle, and compliance matrices.

Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills; proficiency in MS Office and proposal tools.

Active U.S. Secret clearance or ability to obtain one; U.S. citizenship required.
