Associate Property Manager
Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF) is a social outreach ministry that has been empowering communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless since 1998. Founded in Austin, Texas, the organization serves its homeless neighbors through three core programs: Truck Ministry, Community First! Village, and Community Works. Community First! Village is a 51-acre master planned development that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. We are now expanding to add more than 1,400 new neighbors over the next 5–10 years.
About the Role
At Community First! Village (CFV), the Neighbor Care department supports neighbors as they settle, cultivate, and care for themselves and others in this unique community for formerly chronically homeless individuals. The Property Management team empowers neighbors into a lifestyle of accountability, goodness, and mutual respect to create a peaceful and healthy community.
We are hiring two Assistant Property Manager positions: one will remain on our main CFV campus on Hog Eye Road, while the second will begin onboarding at that location before transitioning to our new Burleson property, tentatively targeted for October (subject to operational needs). This role supports the daily operations of one of the most unique residential communities in the country, partnering closely with the Property Manager to oversee lease compliance, neighbor relations, property operations, and staff supervision. This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Property Manager. Hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, with some nights, weekends, and rotating on-call duties required.
