About the role

Founded in 2009, QFC Real Estate is a San Diego-based commercial real estate investment, brokerage, and property management company. The firm manages a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate assets and works closely with owners, tenants, vendors, lenders, and business partners across a broad range of property types and ownership structures. Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for assigned commercial properties.
  • Serve as a point of contact for tenant requests and inquiries.
  • Cook up maintenance and repair work with vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct property inspections and follow up on operational issues.
  • Aid in lease administration, including tracking renewals, expirations, and critical lease dates.
  • Review and process invoices, service contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Support rent collection activities and monitor accounts receivable.
  • Aid in budget preparation and monthly financial reporting.
  • Maintain accurate property, tenant, and vendor records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and property standards.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in commercial property management, real estate, facilities management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience with property management software such as AppFolio, Yardi or MRI is preferred.
