About the role
The successful candidate will be expected to sustain a significant, ongoing research agenda commensurate with their appointed rank that leads to peer-reviewed publication and demonstrates leadership and impact in the field.
Responsibilities
- Teach and provide leadership in the M.A. in Technical Communication Program and in our growing undergraduate technical communication offerings.
- Significant participation in the continued development of graduate and undergraduate programs in technical communication.
- Mentorship of junior faculty.
- Led on college and university-level committees.
- Appropriate administrative and programmatic responsibilities.
Requirements
- A terminal degree in Technical Communication, English, or a related field.
- Proven record of scholarly achievement, including peer-reviewed publications.
- Experience in teaching technical communication at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead initiatives.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to contribute to the academic community through service and leadership.
Skills
- Expertise in technical communication theory and practice.
