About the role
This posting is for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach a range of undergraduate TECM courses face-to-face and online.
- Teach courses such as TECM 1500, 1700, 2700, 3010, 4180, 4190.
- Teaching responsibilities vary based on assignment.
Requirements
- Earned an M.A. or Ph.D. from an accredited university.
- Prior experience teaching technical communication preferred.
- Industry experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Must have earned an M.A. or Ph.D. from an accredited university.
- Preference will be given to candidates with graduate-level coursework in professional and technical communication, prior experience teaching technical communication, and industry experience.
Skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
- Experience teaching technical communication.
- Industry experience in technical communication.
