About the role

Independence Community College (ICC) seeks a dynamic individual to join our team. As a member of the academic community, you will play a key role in supporting students' success.

ICC maintains presence downtown through the ICC Foundation office and by partnering with the Independence Business Resource Center.

Programs Offered

  • 35 programs of study for Associates of Arts and/or Science degrees.
  • 11 programs of study for Certificate completion.
  • Technical programs: Allied Health, Cosmetology, and GED/ABE.
  • State-of-the-art facility including animal wards, a classroom, lab, surgery, pharmacy, prep room, small animal treatment, food prep, grooming, and radiology.

  • Veterinary Technology Program.

College Details

  • Founded in 1925 as grades 13 and 14 of the Independence public school system.
  • Legally separated from the school district in 1967.
  • New campus construction began in 1969 and classes started in 1970.
  • Located on a 68 acre campus, formerly the Independence Country Club.
  • Expanded to include ICC West in 2010.
  • Partnered with the Independence Business Resource Center.
