Position in the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, non-tenure academic clinician track.
About the role
Expertise in minimally-invasive gastrointestinal surgery is required. The position will be housed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities
- Clinical and didactic instruction of fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on the GI Surgery service.
- In- and out-patient clinical care of general and gastrointestinal surgery patients, with a focus on foregut and hernia realms.
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
- Certified by the American Board of Surgery or eligible for such certification.
- Fellowship training in minimally-invasive surgery (preferred).
- Robotic surgery skills (preferred).
- Advanced endoscopic skills (welcomed).
