About the role
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Associate or Full Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Teaching responsibilities may include education of medical students, residents and fellows, as well as Program Director for the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship.
- Clinical responsibilities may include outpatient, inpatient, and surgical care of breast cancer and benign breast patients.
Qualifications
- Expertise is required in the specific area of breast surgery.
- Applicants must have an M.D and/or Ph.D or equivalent degree.
- Candidate must be certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS) or foreign equivalent.
- Candidates must have completed an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency program and a breast surgical oncology or complex general surgical oncology fellowship.
Position will be based in Philadelphia at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and/or Pennsylvania Hospital with potential sites in suburban NJ and PA. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
