Faculty position in the non-tenure academic clinician track within the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania.

About the role

Expertise in minimally-invasive gastrointestinal surgery is required. The position will be based at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

  • Clinical and didactic instruction of fellows, residents, and medical students rotating on the GI Surgery service.
  • In- and out-patient clinical care of general and gastrointestinal surgery patients, with a focus on foregut and hernia realms.

Requirements

  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Certification by the American Board of Surgery or eligibility for such certification.
  • Fellowship training in minimally-invasive surgery (preferred).
  • Robotic surgery skills (preferred).
  • Advanced endoscopic skills (welcomed).
