About the role

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gastrointestinal cancers.

Qualifications

  • M.D. or equivalent degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology

Responsibilities

Teaching

  • Teach hematology/oncology fellows, residents, and medical students
  • Fulfill the academic clinician track requirement of 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching

Clinical

  • Care for patients with gastrointestinal cancers in an outpatient setting
  • Serve as attending for general solid tumor oncology patients on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
