About the role
The Associate Patient Care Coordinator reports to the Center Administrator and provides appointment scheduling, patient registration, and cashiering. This role also answers incoming calls and performs other related clerical functions, acting as a front office support function.
Location: 8526 Del Webb Blvd. Las Vegas, NV. May be required to travel to other sites for coverage, depending on business need.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments, verifying correct visit type and primary care provider
- Provide exceptional service to all customers
- Greet patients and check them in and out
- Ensure demographics including insurance information are correct in IDX and update as necessary
- Collect appropriate co-pays and adhere to all cash handling policies
- Manage waiting room cleanliness, communicate pertinent information to patients, and ensure all patients have been assisted
- Work with back office staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Resolve service issues and complaints, deferring to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessary
- Assist co-workers and team members with duties, including floating to other areas
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1+ years of experience in customer service
- 1+ years of experience providing administrative support in a healthcare, medical office, and/or health insurance environment
- Beginner level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of data entry experience
- 1+ years of experience with EMR computer applications

Pay
The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour based on full-time employment.

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm PST
