About the Role
Responsible for delivering patient-oriented service in clinical or front office settings, performing clerical and administrative duties to support patient care.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and checking in patients, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and processing paperwork.
- Entering and verifying patient data in computer systems, coordinating referrals, pre-authorizations, and benefits.
- Responding to patient inquiries with compassion, generating reports, and maintaining registration requirements across various departments.
- Scheduling appointments and ensuring accurate documentation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ year experience in healthcare, customer service, or office setting.
- Proficiency in typing and basic math.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance procedures preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts within a 24/7 schedule and stand for long periods.
- Reliable transportation.
Pay
$16.15–$28.80 per hour.
