Associate Pastor

Pine Street Baptist Church is seeking an Associate Pastor to assist the Senior Pastor in carrying out the ministry of the church.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Pastor in the overall mission and leadership of the church.
• Preach and teach as needed.
• Assist the Senior Pastor in shepherding and caring for the church family, including outreach, contacting members, and providing counseling when needed.
• Coordinate with the Senior Pastor in planning all worship services.
• Develop and oversee the discipleship ministry of the church.
• Provide leadership and oversight to support staff.

Requirements

• Confessing born-again believer in Jesus Christ.
• Meet the character qualifications for Pastor found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
• Maintain a close personal walk with Jesus Christ.
• Ordained to the Gospel ministry or willingness to be ordained and gives evidence of a divine call to ministry.
• Affirms the church’s doctrinal statement found in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
