Pine Street Baptist Church is seeking an Associate Pastor to assist the Senior Pastor in carrying out the ministry of the church.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Senior Pastor in the overall mission and leadership of the church.
- Preach and teach as needed.
- Assist the Senior Pastor in shepherding and caring for the church family, including outreach, contacting members, and providing counseling when needed.
- Coordinate with the Senior Pastor in planning all worship services.
- Develop and oversee the discipleship ministry of the church.
- Provide leadership and oversight to support staff.
Requirements
- Confessing born-again believer in Jesus Christ.
- Meet the character qualifications for Pastor found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
- Maintain a close personal walk with Jesus Christ.
- Ordained to the Gospel ministry or willingness to be ordained and gives evidence of a divine call to ministry.
- Affirms the church’s doctrinal statement found in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
