About the role
The Associate Manager of SAAS Talent Acquisition serves as the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support's talent acquisition professional and strategic recruitment partner. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing full-cycle recruitment activities for positions across the division. The Associate Director partners with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, ensure compliance with university policies and employment regulations, and facilitates the delivery of an exceptional candidate experience. The position serves as the division's subject matter expert on recruitment, search committee best practices, Post PeopleAdmin, workforce planning, and recruitment analytics while advancing strategies to attract, recruit, and retain a highly qualified workforce.
Responsibilities
- Manage all recruitment and talent acquisition activities for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support, serving as the division's primary recruitment advisor and strategic talent acquisition partner.
- Develop and implement an annual divisional recruitment strategy aligned with workforce planning initiatives to attract, recruit, and retain a highly qualified and diverse workforce.
- Serve as the division's expert on search committee administration by providing consultation, guidance, and oversight throughout the search process.
- Consult with search committees and ensure committee members complete required university search committee training.
- Serve on the division's Professional Development team's onboarding subcommittee to ensure new staff receive a robust, well-coordinated onboarding experience.
- Create and maintain onboarding resources such as timelines, supervisor checklists, communication templates, and structured onboarding plans to support consistency across the Division.
- Develop, monitor, analyze, and report recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of divisional recruitment strategies and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Serve as an integral part of the Centralized HR Team. Monitor ticketing system, review and approve pending transactions in PeopleAdmin and PeopleSoft.

- Strong critical thinking skills, ability to interpret policies, apply rules and regulations, and provide guidance to departmental personnel.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and customer service.
- Ability to interact with personnel at various levels within the institution and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws, policies, procedures, rules and regulations related to personnel procedures, practices and policies.
- Ability to gather and analyze data from various sources.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education recruitment or talent acquisition.
