About the role

As the 3PL Logistics Associate Manager, you will ensure all orders are shipped daily from the North Las Vegas 3PL site. You will maintain accurate inventory, monitor daily 3PL activities to Wella’s high standards, and ensure the 3PL operates within budget while identifying cost-reduction opportunities. You will lead daily direction-setting meetings with the 3PL and conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews for Wella. While deeply engaged with local processes, you will also execute specific tasks, maintain and grow your knowledge of systems, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily oversight of 3PL operations.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs, identifying targets for savings and performance improvement for each distribution channel.
  • Manage communication between the 3PL, Customer Service, Order Management, and Sales.
  • Search for and implement continuous improvement projects across warehousing operations.
  • Participate in 3PL budget reviews, ensuring accurate monthly/quarterly guidance.
  • Ensure the 3PL meets KPIs to drive continuous improvement and align with overall performance.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts and cost models, including staffing coverage and capacity planning.
  • Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures, providing support to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Reconcile 3PL invoices with Finance.
  • Lead inventory analysis and review 3PL cycle counting processes.
  • Monitor the WMSSAP interface and daily inventory reconciliation to maintain virtual Inventory Record Accuracy.
  • Own the site process for stock adjustments, storage location management, and lost stock location management.
  • Maintain compliance of all procedures in line with COE and Internal Audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Experience dealing with stakeholders, leadership, and external influencers.
  • Experience with Parcel, LTL, and FTL shipping modes preferred.
  • WMS experience required (preferably Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or similar).
  • SAP operating experience preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Visio, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle large datasets, eliminate outliers, draw relevant connections, and cleanse data.
  • Ability to work and influence people across a diverse organization and with external 3PL providers.
  • Ability to work autonomously, self-motivated to maintain and improve controls within the distribution center.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support department requirements and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or related business field required, or 3–5 years’ experience in related fields.
  • Three to five years of supervisory experience is a plus.

Pay

Compensation range: $67,000–$90,250 salary per year plus bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including location, experience, skills, and comparison to internal incumbents in similar roles.
