About the role
Under the general supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Clinical Lab Assistant I performs routine non-technical, manual, and a moderate amount of technical work in the medical laboratory. Maintains laboratory areas and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition. Carries out related tasks as required.
This position is Per Diem and will work 10-hour, Variable shifts.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License upon hire
- Or California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Laboratory, medical office or hospital experience
Pay
$25.37 - $29.81 per hour. Placement on the wage range is determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
