Associate Field Services Technology Manager
About the role
This role is based at the Signia by Hilton Indianapolis. You will be part of an in-house Technology team that's creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies revolutionizing the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT and Telecom support for the Indianapolis Signia Hotel and Indianapolis, IN/Central Area Hotel team members.
- Support the hotel with business solutions such as installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware to efficient performance.
- Troubleshoot problem areas promptly and accurately.
Projects
- Upgrading High Speed Internet Network.
- Upgrading Parking System.
- POS upgrades.
- Hardware Refreshes.
- Door Lock Systems.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Professional work experience in Technology or related field.
- Experience working in IT field support, desktop support, or an onsite technical support environment.
- IT field (Telecom, Technology) experience in hospitality, retail, or related industries.
- Travel potentially 20% of the time.
What It Takes to Make the Stay
- Minimum qualifications: Professional work experience in Technology or related field, Experience working in IT field support, desktop support, or an onsite technical support environment, IT field (Telecom, Technology) experience in hospitality, retail, or related industries.
- It would be useful if you have: Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience, Three (3) + years of work experience in Technology or a related field, Two (2) + years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and/or IT support roles, Cisco or Microsoft certifications, Experience with the following Hospitality related applications and systems: PMS, POS, Key systems, PBX, Voicemail.
