About the Role

We believe in the power of media to reshape our industry and orchestrate a brand’s entire consumer experience by balancing what unites people and what makes them different. The Associate Director, Video Partnerships is a high-level client team specialist role requiring strong leadership and managerial skills. This position involves deep knowledge of the video space, media research, and systems, with a focus on negotiating media partnerships and leading strategic direction as a marketing partner for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Comms Design, Analytics, and Client Advice and Management to ensure alignment with and delivery against client KPIs.
  • Identify synergistic and/or targeted opportunities on an ongoing basis to further drive client business.
  • Accountable for video plan output timeliness, accuracy, and overall excellence.
  • Plan, direct, supervise, resolve, and coordinate work activities of the team, including handling personnel requirements such as training and development.
  • Develop processes to ensure superior stewardship, optimization, delivery, and cross-platform post-analysis while freeing up time for creative approaches to each client’s business.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals to various audiences.
  • Provide partnerships support for New Business pitches, including cost exercises.
  • Support and collaborate with all Media Brands (MB) SBUs for maximum effectiveness and seamless integration onto client business, as well as support MAGNA aggregate negotiations across appropriate channels.

Requirements

  • National broadcast media buying experience with demonstrated technical and negotiating skills.
  • Understanding of marketing, advertising, and media data sources, including what is measured, methods, and reported information, as well as media concepts, terms, creative, and budget.
  • Superior analytical abilities and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into well-articulated ideas.
  • Knowledge of buying, planning, client presentation, and reporting.
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of research tools.
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Detailed awareness of client business issues, industry trends, consumer trends, promotional resources, market status, and competition.

Pay

$110,000 - $120,000 per year. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on factors such as skill set, level of experience, qualifications, market considerations, and budgetary constraints.

Schedule

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
