Associate Director, Trade & Distribution
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation of GPO contracts, ensuring negotiated terms from National Account Directors are accurately translated into operational workflows
- Manage performance metrics for Specialty Pharmacies and Wholesalers, monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for inventory stocking, delivery accuracy, and the Perfect Order Index (POI)
- Monitor trade-related services to ensure payments align with Fair Market Value (FMV) standards and provide necessary service data for compliance documentation
- Oversee daily chargeback adjudication and dispute resolution, ensuring systemic alignment between field activities and the Contract Management System (CMS)
- Understand Gross-to-Net (GTN) mechanics and how channel inventory levels impact the corporate balance sheet and net revenue targets
- Act as the business lead for EDI 852/867 data. Partner with the Director of GTN & Government Operations to provide inventory and sales insights that support accurate accruals and forecasting
- Implement operational safeguards and utilize data-clearinghouse tools to prevent 340B duplicate discounts and minimize revenue leakage
- Collaborate with the Director of Contract Admin to ensure Class of Trade (CoT) identification and membership validation are synchronized with daily distribution activities
Education and Required Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in supply chain management or healthcare administration preferred
- Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical trade, market access, or commercial operations.
- THERAPEUTIC KNOWLEDGE: Experience in Oncology or Rare Diseases is highly preferred
- Tech Expertise: Mastery of Excel and BI tools; deep knowledge of 852/867 data structures and ERP (SAP) integration.
- FINANCIAL LITERACY: Strong understanding of Gross-to-Net (GTN) mechanics and how channel inventory impacts corporate balance sheets.
- COLLABORATION: Proven ability to work cross-functionally between account management, finance, and government pricing teams

Pay
The salary range for this role is $169k-$204k. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
