Position Summary

The Trade and Distribution Director is responsible for contributing to ImmunityBio’s channel distribution and GPO contracting strategy and tactics. The role is also responsible for directing all strategy, tactics, and activities for assigned corporate accounts on behalf of all commercial products to meet and exceed the business plan forecast.

Essential Functions

  • Management of day-to-day commercial distribution operations
  • Partner with Supply Chain on commercial product functions - DSCSA/serialization in conjunction with 3rd party vendor (ie TraceLink), manufacturing/3PL build, inbound inventory, and responsibility matrix
  • Plan and execute Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Manage relationship with Urology GPOs and determine best ways to increase market share and overall sales
  • Establish, review, manage, and update vendor partners and agreements based on current and future business needs
  • Manage specialty pharmacy (SP) to ensure that contract is executed properly and product not flowing out of their institutions.
  • Performs ad-hoc and cross-functional duties and/or projects assigned to support business needs and provide developmental opportunities.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related field required
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry required
  • 8+ years of working in a Market Access capacity required
  • Limited launch experience: rare or orphan disease, urology, oncology preferred

Working Environment / Physical Environment

  • This position works remotely
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of the Company
  • Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record check upon hire and annually thereafter
  • Must maintain a standard form of automobile liability insurance that meets the company’s required minimum coverage limits (currently $250,000/$500,000 bodily injury liability and $100,000 property damage liability), Must provide proof of insurance coverage that meets these requirements upon hire and annually thereafter

Pay

The annual base pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.

  • National Market (all markets unless identified as Premium): $200,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $220,000 (highly experienced) annually
  • Premium Market (Premium markets include Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, & Boston): $227,300 (entry-level qualifications) to $250,000 (highly experienced) annually
