About the role

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director/Director, Long Term Care Marketing. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategy and tactics for the launch of Alzheimer’s Disease Agitation in key channels such as LTC. The Marketer will develop and execute both personal and non-personal promotion tactical plans in line with brand strategies. This role will collaborate cross functionally with Market Access, Regional Marketing, Patient Marketing, Patient Support Services, Sales, Market Access, Data & Market Analytics, as well as other internal and external partners. Deliverables to include POA development, brand communications, cohesive messaging and content tailored for specific audiences, etc. This individual reports to the Executive Director, Marketing, Alzheimer’s Disease.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Work cross-functionally to adapt the launch strategy for Alzheimer’s Disease Agitation to maximize potential in key channels
  • Partner with Market Access, Market Insights, Medical Affairs, and Regional Marketing to develop and align tailored marketing messages, tactics, and resources for each channel of business
  • Lead Legal / Regulatory / Medical review of all channel-specific materials
  • Lead strategy for national society interactions and congress meetings by channel
  • Collaborate with multiple external agencies including creative, digital, media, and P2P
  • Identify appropriate measurements & ROI, and develop comprehensive reporting to evaluate effectiveness of specific channel promotion initiatives
  • Identify strategic market opportunities and make recommendations to enhance brand penetration into key channels
  • Manage timelines and budgets in accordance with brand plan

Requirements / Qualifications

  • BA or BS, advanced degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including a minimum of 6 years in marketing
  • Experience in leading the successful development and creation of LTC marketing content
  • Strong personal drive, highly collaborative, problem solver that exhibits strategic insight and innovative agility
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve results in a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to work on site Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. We are unable to consider candidates who are looking for fully remote roles

Salary and Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this role is $170,000 - $225,000. The salary offer will be based on a variety of factors, including experience, qualifications, internal equity and location. Axsome offers a competitive employment package that includes an annual bonus, significant equity and a generous benefits package.

Associate Director/Director, Patient Service Analytics

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking an Associate Director/Director, Patient Service Analytics to be responsible for the oversight of analytics supporting Axsome’s Patient Service Programs, including analytics that enable and measure the effectiveness of patient service and other related market access tactics. This role is accountable for generating high-quality analytic insights that inform strategic decision-making, optimize patient access, and improve provider and patient experience across the Axsome portfolio.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the oversight of patient service analytics initiatives in alignment with organizational priorities and patient access objectives
  • Close collaboration with Market Access Data Science to ensure a complete Market Access data infrastructure and support of industry leading data visualization
  • Proactively inform leadership of analytic insights related to patient services and access outcomes to inform strategic, operational, and field-facing decision-making
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant collection, analysis, and dissemination of patient services and field access data
  • Oversee and complete high-impact ad hoc analytic requests from leadership, ensuring outputs are executive-ready and contextually sound
  • Closely collaborate with Market Access, Field Sales, Commercial Operations, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and a variety of external partners to ensure analytic insights support access initiatives and field execution
  • Lead monitoring and evaluation of patient service programs to ensure data quality and identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for patient service and field access process and business rule optimization using data-driven insights
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of patient service and field access programs through KPI development, performance tracking, and outcome measurement
  • Provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and oversight to analytic resources or team members, as applicable
  • Ensure compliance with Axsome Therapeutics' corporate policies and procedures, as well as all applicable U.S. healthcare laws and regulations

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical patient services, market access, commercial operations, or access-related analytics
  • Retail pharmacy products and associated patient service tactics (ex: savings card, switch adjudicated claims program)
  • Experience, Knowledge and Skills
