Associate Director
About the role
The Associate Director, Strategy is responsible for managing traditional media communication for assigned brands, ensuring accurate budget control and overseeing media activities. They will collaborate closely with managers to develop and communicate media recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client businesses and apply media insights to meet objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative client relationships, establishing trust and authority.
- Manage timelines, projects, and personnel within a direct report team and across cross-functional teams.
- Handle multiple work streams simultaneously, demonstrating strategic and critical thinking to innovate and collaborate with teams.
- Successfully manage vendor relationships, negotiate effectively, and achieve desired outcomes.
- Present complex ideas clearly and confidently in meetings with key clients.
- Self-manage and organize tasks, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in traditional media planning, buying, and management, with progressively responsible roles.
- Strategic thinker capable of analyzing the big picture and solving problems creatively.
- Experience leading a team, managing day-to-day operations, and fostering growth among team members.
- Strong client relationships, negotiation skills, and ability to simplify complex ideas for clients.
- Active in forward-thinking technology and community trends, with a passion for integrating these into brand strategies.
- Confident and organized, able to handle multiple responsibilities and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is USD $106,780.00 - USD $153,405.00 annually. The actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
